God’s Secrets
Scripture
Psalm 25:14 (NIV)
The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
Reflection
Psalm 25:14 reminds us of the beauty of quiet, intimate moments with God our Father. God, the Maker of the universe, desires to confide in those who fear Him. What a promise! This doesn't mean fearing Him with anxiety but with reverence, awe and deep respect.
Imagine being entrusted with the secrets of the Almighty. It's an invitation to a personal relationship, where God shares His wisdom, love, and covenant with those who seek Him with a humble heart. Just as close friends confide in one another, the Creator of all confides in those who fear Him, His beloved.
God's secrets aren't mysterious riddles; they're insights into His character and His plan for our lives. As we explore Scripture, spend time in prayer and draw near to Him, we can be confident that He will unveil the mysteries of His Word and His heart to us.
Prayer
Dear Lord, we come before You with reverence and gratitude for Your willingness to confide in us. Thank You for inviting us into a personal relationship with You, where we can learn from Your wisdom and experience the depths of Your love. Help us to be still, to listen and to seek Your guidance in all we do. We long to know Your secrets and to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
