The Boundless Riches of Christ
Scripture
Ephesians 3:8 (NIV)
Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ.
Reflection
In this verse, the apostle Paul humbly acknowledges his own inadequacy compared to the grandeur of God's grace. Despite considering himself the least among the believers, he recognizes the profound privilege bestowed upon him, God’s calling to proclaim the unfathomable riches found in Christ. Paul's humility serves as a reminder that God's grace is not contingent upon our worthiness or merit but is freely given to all who believe. It is a grace that transcends human comprehension and extends boundlessly to encompass every aspect of our lives.
Prayer
Dear Lord, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the immeasurable grace You have lavished upon us. Like Paul, we humbly acknowledge our own unworthiness in the presence of Your boundless love and mercy. Grant us the wisdom to comprehend the depth of Your riches and the courage to share this glorious truth with others. May Your grace continue to transform our lives and empower us to live faithfully according to Your will.
